MLA Kuldeep Rathore submitted a memorandum to the Governor, seeking relief package for Himachal

Kuldeep Rathore, spokesperson of All India Congress Committee and MLA from Theog assembly constituency met Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla. Rathore handed over a memorandum to him and informed him about the damage caused due to rain and cloudburst in the state. He said that his assembly constituency Theog has also caused heavy damage due to rain. People’s apple orchards have been destroyed. Drinking water schemes have been affected. He urged the Governor to use his influence to talk to the Center so that Himachal could get maximum relief. In an informal conversation with journalists in Shimla, Rathore said that the governor has been informed about the arrangements made by the farmers and gardeners for the damage caused by the monsoon. The Governor said that the issue of loss due to monsoon is in his notice. He has put the whole thing before the Center, the Governor assured that he will again put the matter before the Center. Rathore said that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is coming to Himachal in the first week of August, it is expected that he will do relief work. He urged the Central Government to help Himachal generously on this occasion. Rathore said that the government has also placed a detailed report of the damage before the Centre. The central team had also come to Himachal. On the allegations of the opposition, Rathore said that this is not the time to do politics but to wipe the tears of the people.

In response to another question, Rathore said that this time the Theog festival will be for three days. The festival is very popular in the region, so it has been decided to have three days instead of two. Rathore said that he is continuously visiting the Theog-Vis area. Officers are also in the field and are engaged in relief work.

Responding to a question from journalists, Rathore said that hundreds of thousands of workers of the state have contributed to the return of the Congress to power. Even during the Kovid period, he worked on the streets. There are dozens of cases against hundreds of Congress workers. I also have dozens of cases against me. Till now the cases have not been videoed. He said that the workers due to whom they came to power should definitely be given respect. The recognition or recognition they should get after coming to power. The government should seriously consider this matter.
