Kisan Sabha submitted 21 point demand letter regarding the problem of apple growers

Regarding the problems of apple growers, the state center team of Himachal Kisan Sabha, under the leadership of State President Dr. Kuldeep Tanwar and State Finance Secretary Satyawan Pundir, handed over a 21-point demand letter to Additional Deputy Commissioner Shimla Abhishek Verma. Whereas, on the call of the Apple Producers Association, farmers and gardeners organized symbolic dharnas and demonstrations in the apple production areas.
Dr. Tanwar said that in the letter of demand, there was a demand for effective implementation of APMC and Legal Metrology Act, regulation of freight rates, exemption of apple carton trays and other equipment from GST, and implementation of universal cartons. Apart from this, apple should be brought under MIS. In which A grade apple should be declared at Rs.80, B grade apple at Rs.60, and C grade at Rs.30.
Sunil Vashishtha, Ram Singh, Naveen Sharma, and Mehar Singh were present in the delegation.
