IPS Probationers Officers call on Himachal Governor
Four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers on probation of Himachal Pradesh cadre paid a courtesy call to the Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan, today.
On the occasion, the Governor congratulated them and wished for their future responsibilities. He discussed various important issues related to Himachal. They also shared their experiences during the training with the Governor.
The governor asked the officers to work against drugs in the state and for this, along with awareness, he also appealed to take strict steps. He said that if action was not taken against drugs in time, the situation could be serious.
He advised the officers to always be aware of their duties and said that it was his good fortune that he has got this opportunity. He said that Himachal Pradesh is a peace-loving state, so their aim should be how to make the state more progress.
Secretary, Governor Rajesh Sharma and Superintendent of Police (Law and Order) Shrishty Pandey were also present on the occasion.
The probationary officers included Aditi from Uttar Pradesh, Sai Dattatreya Verma from Andhra Pradesh, Sachin from Karnataka and Byum Bindal from Himachal.
