The Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that it has been raining heavily in the state for the last 36 hours due to which the loss of life and property occurred in the state.
This is the third time in this monsoon that rains have caused such huge devastation in the state. He said that many people have died tragically in this rain.
While paying tributes to all the deceased, Jairam Thakur prayed to God for peace of their souls and strength to the family members in this hour of grief. He said that people have died in this disaster, and the loss of lives could never be compensated.
The Leader of the Opposition said that the danger has not been averted yet. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain for two more days. That’s why people should be very careful in this disaster.
Take care of yourself and your family. Do not travel unnecessarily. Follow the instructions issued by the administration and do not go near rivers and drains.
He requested the people to leave their homes which are in danger of any kind and go to safer places so that the possibility of any untoward incident can be avoided.
Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that the state is in the grip of disaster for the second time within ten days. The government is requested to immediately vacate the houses coming under the purview of any kind of possible danger and send the people living in them to safe places.
Threatened trees should be cut as soon as possible. So that the damage caused by the falling of trees can be avoided. The Leader of the Opposition demanded that all kinds of arrangements should be made in the disaster relief camps so that the people living there do not face any kind of inconvenience.
