Himachal Mahila Congress protested against the atrocities against women in Manipur

Himachal Pradesh Mahila Congress today, under the chairmanship of State President Zainab Chandel, protested against the atrocities against women in Manipur, Mahila Congress office bearers protesting and raising slogans expressed strong anger on Cart Road. State Mahila Congress President Zainab Chandel said that atrocities against women are happening in Manipur and Manipur is burning for two months and the government did not take any concrete steps. Prime Minister Modi also gave a statement after 79 days, that too when the video of this heinous act went viral. This gruesome act has made the whole of India bow its head in shame. All the women of the country are hurt and saddened by this. The double-engine government has failed. Such useless useless government has no right to remain in power. Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani ji, and other women ministers have all kept silent in the center, it is very shameful. If he is silent even on such issues related to women then what is the use of having such a minister. This clearly shows how serious the BJP is towards women. He said that first of all peace should be established in Manipur. Attacking PM Narendra Modi, he said that Manipur is burning even after two months.

State Mahila Congress President has demanded that in view of the worsening situation in Manipur, President’s Rule should be imposed there and the culprits of this violence should be given the strictest punishment.
