Himachal Kisan Sabha expresses deep condolence on the sudden demise of Veer Singh Rana, retired Chief Engineer from Jal Shakti Department.
E. Rana was a very work-oriented and honest person. Starting as a Junior Engineer in the Irrigation and Public Health Department in 1984, B. S. Rana has made his mark as an excellent officer in the department in his journey to Chief Engineer in 2018. While working as Executive Engineer in the Jal Shakti Department at Kasumpti, Himachal Kisan Sabha came in contact with Rana ji. While holding this post, Rana ji made important improvements in about a dozen drinking water schemes in the Kasumpti area.
Rana ji was a very sociable person by nature. Despite holding high positions, he had very simple dealings with the common people. Apart from being a simple personality, Rana ji not only had a far-sighted vision towards the department, he also had progressive views towards the society. And due to these progressive ideas, after retirement, he remained in favor of clean politics.
On this sudden demise of Rana ji, State President of Kisan Sabha Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar, and State Finance Secretary Satyawan Pundir expressed deep sorrow and expressed condolences to the family.
