Fire gutted a wooden house in Udaipur
A major fire broke out in a wooden house at Bada village of Udaipur subdivision of Lahaul-Spiti district in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, state diaster Management authority spokesperson informed.
The mishasp occurred at 12.40 hrs on Wednesday. The villagers tried to control the infernos. A team of fire personnel also rushed to the spot to control the fire.The Local and fire personnel doused the flames by 1500 hrs in the afternoon.
The revenue officials immediately rushed to spot for accessing the loss of property in the mishasp and to provide interim relief to affected family.
The affected Family was makeshift to an alternate accommodation. The ration and blankets are provided to affected family at the Teachers’ residential house by the district administration.
