Dr. Rajeev Bindal inaugurated the Meri Mati-Mera Desh program
BJP State President Rajeev Bindal said that on August 15, 2023, the “Meri Mati-Mera Desh” campaign was launched across the country. In the nectar of the country, the campaign of worshiping the soil seems to be meaningful and absolutely necessary. I believe that this campaign is not just a campaign, it is a public awareness. When we look at the history of India, lakhs and lakhs of people have sacrificed their lives in every period for the protection of this mother earth. After that, Mother India is still alive with the Indian culture even after a thousand years of slavery. India is a country where sacrifices have been worshipped. Where fairs are always organized for those who die for this mother earth, and the people who consume this earth, the society of India never looks at them with reverence. Maharana Pratap is revered today because he did not accept slavery and sacrificed everything for the protection of Mother India. Guru Govind Singh Ji Maharaj is worshipable because he made the biggest sacrifice in the world, the sacrifice of the father, the sacrifice of himself, and the sacrifice of the four sons for the protection of religion. Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Chandrashekhar Azad, Batukeshwar Dutt, Ashfaq Ullah Khan, Swatantra Veer Savarkar, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Lala Lajpat Rai, Rani Laxmibai, Tantya Tope, Krishnadev Rai, Chhatrasal, Rani Gaidilyu, Birsa Munda Bhagwan of thousands of sacrifices like Names can be taken of those who took the oath of this soil and sacrificed everything to protect the country.
At the time of Amrit Kaal, when the country took a resolution that we have to restore the lost glory of Mother India and make India stand as a superpower of the world, at such a time, worshiping the soil is the need of the hour. Every person of the country should offer his devotion and feelings towards Mother India, towards the soil of India. Collecting a pinch of soil from crores of families, he reached Delhi and there, overflowing with emotions, “Amritvan” should be built from that soil and a wave of patriotism should spread in the whole country.
Along with taking a pinch of soil from Mother India, we are making five types of resolutions in front of that Mother India:
1. Resolution of developed India.
Freedom from the mentality of 2. slavery.
3. Proud of our heritage.
4. Unity and solidarity.
5. Duties of citizens.
These five souls will give a new direction to my country. My country has progressed a lot in the last 75 years but it is not enough. We have to take every citizen of the country forward. Leaving the mentality of one thousand years of slavery, we have to instill faith in our cultural heritage. We all have to bind ourselves in one thread and engage in nation building with devotion to duty. This is the appeal of the man of the nation Narendra Bhai Modi ji.
If we think about it, then this is not the first occasion when Mahayagya has not been completed with the view of the country’s unity and solidarity by taking any object in the form of reverence from every corner of the country. The Mahakumbh held in the country in the past has been a symbol of this. From the Himalayas to Kanyakumari, lakhs of people used to gather in Mahakumbh with devotion in Ujjain/Kurukshetra/Haridwar/Kashi and from there used to take the message of nationalism and Indian culture to every corner of the country. Today, there is a great yagya in the form of worshiping my soil, my country and the soil. It is expected of the country that every citizen of the country should be a part of this Mahayagya. During this campaign, inscriptions are being installed in all the villages of freedom fighters and patriots who sacrificed their lives to protect the country on the borders. In this way, saluting the martyrdom of the freedom fighters, the brave soldiers of the army, a great yagya is going on across the country to awaken the spirit of patriotism among the people. Today, I had the privilege of going door-to-door to collect soil while awakening patriotism at a place called Shoghi in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh.
