Congress government is in the role of opposition: Dr. Rajiv Bindal
While cursing the Bharatiya Janata Party, Chief Minister Sukhu has forgotten that at present there is a Congress government in the state and not BJP. BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal, while addressing the press conference, said that the nervousness and problems of the present state government are visible. The Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leaders of the state spend their entire time abusing BJP in the morning and evening in public meetings at various places. BJP has alleged that without doing a single development work till date, a loan of Rs 20 thousand crores has been taken in 16 months, not a single person has been given employment in these one and a half years, not a single new work has been started, no No health institute was opened, no educational institute was opened. Today Congress has nothing to say in front of the public due to which they want to garner sympathy by cursing the BJP.
He said that such a ridiculous situation has arisen for the first time in the state that the ruling party is expecting development from the opposition.
The State President said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhu, the law and order system of the state has been torn to pieces. In the tenure of one and a half year, there is no such corner of the state from Chamba to Una where crimes against women, incidents of broad daylight robbery and gang war are not stopping. Rape with the girl child in Shimla, harassment of women in other parts of the state and the Chief Minister’s violent statements on the same are working to spoil the law and order of the state. Criminals are getting a free hand, security personnel deployed for security are becoming victims of assault every now and then. We want to ask the Chief Minister about the brutal murder of a Dalit youth in Chamba, harassment of a woman in his area, rape of a 4 year old girl in Shimla, but till date neither the Chief Minister has gone to a single place to express condolences nor has he been able to get justice for the victims. . The prevalence of drug abuse in the state is increasing day by day, the state government is asleep, our young generation is dying due to drug overdose but the Chief Minister is happy and the public is suffering.
He said that the agenda of the Bharatiya Janata Party is that the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go among the public on the issues of poor welfare, women’s respect, youth upliftment and farmers’ welfare. Bharatiya Janata Party gave free ration to 80 crore poor people and this work of poor welfare will continue in a better way in the next five years. Where permanent houses have been built for 4 crore poor people, more permanent houses will be built for 3 crore poor people. Free treatment worth Rs 5 lakh was provided to 50 crore people through Ayushman Bharat, while free treatment worth Rs 5 lakh will be provided to every person above 70 years of age. Swanidhi scheme will be expanded for ready and track people. The assistance amount of Rs 10 thousand is being increased from Rs 50 thousand to Rs 2 lakh. Vishwa Karma Yojana which includes Sonar, Kumar, Lohar, Charamkar and Handicraft will be extended to them. For employment generation, Swavalamban Yojana will be increased from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. Both the Startup and Standup India schemes will be expanded, that is, the amount of Rs. 6,000 per year given to 11 crore 50 lakh farmers will be increased for another 5 years and at the same time special type of assistance will be provided to the farmers from seed to production. Work will be done to increase their income by increasing their expenses.
