Children should study with confidence, do not panic: Sukhu

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that children should study with confidence and not panic. One should never feel nervous while studying. Children should not look at mobile phones the whole day, fix study time and read for at least two hours every day. Success and failure are two sides of a coin. When one door closes the other opens.

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said these things on Wednesday at the launch program of a magazine based on cleanliness campaign at Trisha College of Education, Jolsapar. He said that study with dedication and you will surely get success. The state government is bringing qualitative improvement in the level of education. Emphasis is being laid on data based education. Now education has become technology based. The era of data science, data learning, artificial intelligence has come. The government has also started these courses in ITI.

The Chief Minister said that when our government was formed 15 months ago, it was found in the presentation on education that the state has lagged far behind in qualitative education. Education was expanding, but instead of moving forward, it was continuously going backward. The child of fifth class is not able to read the book of second class. Children have a fear of English, they consider this subject very difficult. In view of this, our government is going to start English medium from class 1 in all government schools from the current session. Provision has been made in the budget. To make the teachers of government schools more confident, the government is organizing exposure tours of teachers abroad.

Thakur Sukhwinder Singh said that day boarding schools are being built in every assembly constituency. 1000 children will study in every school. There will be every kind of facility in these schools. The magazine release program started with lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. Trisha College of Education Chairman NK Sharma honored the Chief Minister by covering him with a shawl, wearing a cap and giving him a memento. A cleanliness campaign was conducted by the college in 24 schools of Nadaun block and surrounding villages from 2 October 2023 to 17 November 2023. This magazine has been prepared on the basis of his report. College Chairman NK Sharma thanked the Chief Minister for attending the program as the chief guest. During this, Congress leader Dr. Pushpinder Verma, nominated councilor Harsh Kalia, Mahila Congress Secretary Sangeeta Katoch, nominated director of Kangra Bank Moti Joshi etc. were present.
