Chief Minister should give up his stubbornness: Bindal
Bharatiya Janata Party State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that the Congress government in the state, which is being run under the leadership of Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, is putting new burdens on the people of Himachal.
Due to the increase in the price of diesel, there has been a sudden increase in the freight charges in the whole of Himachal Pradesh. All truck unions, all freight vehicles, taxis have increased their rates, which is directly affecting the general public.
Dr. Bindal said that on the very first day of rate hike, we had warned that inflation will increase both directly and indirectly, but the present Congress government is fully engaged in breaking the back of the general public.
Dr. Bindal said that the Chief Minister should leave his stubbornness and the increase of Rs. 6 in diesel should be withdrawn in public interest.
The BJP said that the present Congress government came to power on the promise of removing inflation and fulfilling 10 guarantees. Removing inflation is a distant thing, the work of increasing inflation has been done at a fast pace and the people are going to take revenge for the guarantee they have given to the public.
Dr. Bindal said that tomato, capsicum, beans, cabbage, cabbage, apple, plum, peach are all emerging as cash crops nowadays. Due to the failure of the present government, neither the roads are opening and on top of that the haulage fare has increased. Farmers have to open roads by installing JCBs from their pocket money and the fare of JCBs has also increased. In this way, the farmers-gardeners and the general public are suffering due to the actions of the Congress government.
