Anurag Thakur to meet people affected by heavy rains of Hamirpur parliamentary constituency on July 14, 15, 16
Union Minister for Information Broadcasting and Sports and Youth Affairs Shri Anurag Singh Thakur will be on a tour of the Hamirpur parliamentary constituency on July 14, 15, 16. Shri Anurag Thakur will visit flood-affected areas and meet people affected by heavy rains.
Mr. Anurag Thakur said, “Devbhoomi Himachal is facing a natural calamity at present. Due to heavy rains and floods, life has become busy in many places and loss of life and property is being seen. My thoughts are with my brothers and sisters of Devbhoomi in this hour of calamity. On coming 14th, 15th, 16th July, during my visit to Hamirpur parliamentary constituency, I will visit the flood-affected areas, meet the people affected by the rains, share their pain and try to get all possible help from the government. The central government is keeping a close watch on the situation in Himachal. Twelve teams of NDRDA are engaged in relief and rescue operations day and night with the help of the local administration.
Speaking further, Mr. Anurag Thakur said, “The incidents of loss of life and property due to heavy rains are deplorable. The local administration is engaged in relief and rescue operations with full readiness, in which the public is getting full cooperation. Bharatiya Janata Party workers are also helping the people in every possible way by reaching the ground level
