Gram Panchayat Pardhan of Basa Panchayat held for abetment to suicide of Up-pradhan 

In a mysterious turn of events Gram Pardhan of Basa Panchayat was arrested today after he was booked for abetment to the suicide of a Up Pardhan who ended his life on Friday. Deputy Superintendent of Police Mandi Dev Raj has confirmed that a suicide note was recovered from the possession of deceased Up Pardhan Diwan Chand Gupta on Friday.

The alleged content of the suicide note reported that Accused Pradhan was complained by the deceased for being involved in the illegal allotment of a plot and allegedly indulging in corruption and fraud matters.  

Soon after the recovery of the body of Up Pardhan police registered a case against Panchayat Pradhan Rajendra Kumar under Section 306 of the Act. 

DSP said that the court also rejected the anticipatory bail petition filed by the Panchayat Pradhan in the District Sessions Court in the suicide case of the Deputy Head of Gram Panchayat yesterday

 As soon as the bail plea was rejected by the court, the police arrested the Panchayat Pradhan.  The foul play of abetment to suicide couldn’t be denied as the investigation has been started into the matter.  

According to police preliminary investigation, police also recovered a suicide note from the pocket of the deceased.
