Rajneesh Kimta accuses BJP of trying to mislead people regarding the flood situation

Congress Organization General Secretary Rajneesh Kimta has accused the opposition leaders BJP of trying unsuccessfully to mislead the people regarding the flood situation. He has said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu Swam is monitoring the relief and rescue operations by taking daily reports. He said that all the leaders, office bearers, and workers of the Congress party are giving all possible cooperation to the affected people with solidarity.

Rajneesh Kimta met Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and informed him about the damages caused by the natural calamity in the Chopal assembly constituency. Informing the Chief Minister about the dilapidated condition of several link roads in the Chaupal area, he said that the previous BJP government had grossly neglected this area. He said that the BJP MLAs of the area have failed to fulfill their responsibility and are currently trying to mislead the people to hide their failures.

Kimta told Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu that there is a great need to improve the connectivity of roads in this area. He urged the Chief Minister to release additional funds to the Public Works Department and Block Development Officer for the improvement of roads in this area so that the damaged roads and government buildings could be reconstructed soon. He said that the crops of farmers and gardeners have also suffered huge damage here, so they should also be given financial help.
