Rain, thunder showers and cold wave condition persists in Himachal
Himachal registered continue spell of rain and thundershowers for last three days plummeting night temperature by one to two degrees. Met office recorded 17 mm rain at Tourist resort Narkanda: 17.0, Shilaaroo 15 mm, Kotkhai 13 mm, Tourist resort Manali 11 mm, Dalhousie 10 mm. Shimla 6.3 mm, Dharmshala 8.3 mm Jangra 7 mm, Jubberhatti 6.4 mm, Solan 6 mm. Minimum temperature of Shimla was 7.6 degrees, Bhuntar airport 9.6, Kalpa 3, Dharamshala 12.2, Una 9.4 , Nahan 13.3, Keylong minus 0.9, Solan 7.6, Manali 5, Kangra 13.3, Mandi 10.7, Bilaspur 12, Hamirpur 10.9, Chamba 11.4, Dalhousie 5.8 -Jubberhatti 9.7, Kufri 3.2 and Narakanda 0.3 degrees respectively. Manali-Darcha NH-3 is opened for vehicular traffic. Tandi-Killar and Darcha-Shrinkla road was opened for light vehicle . Tandi-Killar road remained disrupted at Rohali due to landslide since last three days was partly restored for light vehicle. Samdhu-Gramhu-Kaza NH is continuously snowbound at many places. Met office forecast rain, thundershowers, hailstorm and lightening at isolated places in the state. The Sky was mainly cloudy in the state. High reaches of Lahaul-Spiti, Kangra, Kullu, Chamba and Kinnuar district likely to have light snowfall and Kangra, Una, Solan, Sirmaur, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Chamba likely to light rain accompanied with Thunderstorms at few places.
