Pratibha called upon the party workers to work unitedly for the Lok Sabha elections

Calling upon the party workers to work unitedly, State Congress President MP Pratibha Singh has asked them to gear up for the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year from now itself. She has said that the Congress won the first four by-elections only because of the strength of the organization. After that, it won the state assembly elections and now in the Shimla Municipal Corporation elections too, Congress has scored a hattrick while continuing its winning streak.
Addressing a meeting of office bearers and workers of the District Congress Committee in Keylong today, Pratibha Singh said that it has been only 5 months since the formation of the Congress government in the state. He said that Congress will fulfill all its guarantees in a phased manner.
In the meeting, Pratibha Singh assured that she will put their demands before the central government regarding the demand for strengthening the irrigation system in Lahul valley and expansion of facilities in this valley from the point of view of tourism. He said that the rights of the people of tribal areas will not be tolerated in any way.
In the meeting, a demand was made to reinstate the foundation stone plaque of former Congress National President Sonia Gandhi on the Rohtang Tunnel at the same place. She said that before the elections, he had assured the people of the area that the foundation stone of Sonia removed from the Rohtang Tunnel by the BJP would be restored by the Congress as soon as it comes to power. So now it should be installed soon.
Lahaul Spiti MLA Ravi Thakur said that he is trying his best to solve everyone’s problems. He said that it is his responsibility for the development of this area, which he is fulfilling at all costs. He said that the Congress organization is strong in the district and because of this strength the Congress has won here. He thanked all the party workers for extending cooperation to him.
During this meeting Congress District President Gyalchhan Thakur, Zip President Anuradha Rana, Vice President Rajesh, Zip Member Dorje Larje, Zip Member Kunga Bodh, Zip Member Chhejang Dolma, Zip Member Bina Devi, BDC Promila, BDC Bhavna, DCC spokesperson Anil Sehgal, former BDC President Norbu Tholakpa, Keylong Block President Ramesh, Youth Congress District President Ajit Leki, Deepak, Rohan, Chirag, Mahila Congress President Shashi Kiran, Raj Negi, Nirmala Devi, Ranika Panchayat Pradhan Mandasi, former District President Norvu Chhelingpa and other party workers were present.
