Now anyone will be able to buy the 0001 VIP number

Now anyone in Himachal will be able to buy VVIP number 0001 for a vehicle. The Transport Department has opened this number to the general public. Earlier this number was reserved only for the government. The special registration fee has been fixed at five lakh rupees in the open number for the public. This means bidding will start from five lakh rupees. The Transport Department has made this provision by amending the Motor Vehicle Rules 1999. However, this provision has not yet come into force. People will have to give objections and suggestions in seven days. After this, this provision will come into force.
