Govt should not be misleading People about Shimla Development Plan: Cong

Congress state unit said here today that Jai Ram Thakur Government should not mislead people about Shimla Development Plan as its cabinet member and leader promising to built Ivory tower to them
Spokesperson of Party Naresh Chouhan alleged that Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj trying to mislead the people with the rhetoric of Shimla Development Plan.
He asked the minister to explain the complete position whether the government has obtained any approval from the NGT regarding opening up construction activities  in the Core and Green Area of Shimla after blanket ban on it by the NGT.
Do state government will go with Shimla Development Plan before NGT in such a situation as confusion prevail among public, he said.

Party alleged that by making statement in the media government is trying to gain milage from half cooked Shimla Development Plan which could necame statute in last 20 yrs need public clarification how it would implement over night to provide relief to the people.
Mr Chauhan demanded that government revealed about the status of the state appeal pending with the Supreme whether state wants to  withdrawing it.
He said that keeping eye on the Shimla Mincipal Corporation and Vidhan Sabha Election this years BJP is trying to create confusions to garner votes however it at all touched the issue in last four years in the power. 

He blamed the BJP rule that  government did not pay any attention to Shimla’s development and people’s problems in the last four years.  

  Chouhan has also asked the government to clarify its position on the suggestions and objections of the people on the new wards in Shimla Municipal Corporation. 
The government should carefully consider the suggestions and objections of the people regarding the formation of new wards.

 He claimed that this time Congress will get full majority in Shimla Municipal Corporation elections and form the city government.
