Multi-axle truck turns turtle near Theog, 4 persons had a narrow escape
In a road mishap that occurred on Shimla-Theog-Chailla highway near Theog four persons have a narrow escape as a multi-axle truck fell turtle after a blast in the front tyre around 2100 hrs Wednesday.
The truck was going towards Chailla when it suddenly fell down on two cars parking on the road. Traffic police could be seen in a Video directing truck to go ahead however it could have gone five to ten meters suddenly turned rammed into two cars and fell down on the roads.
Four persons including the truck driver were rescued safely from the three vehicles. The truck was going to load apples at Parala market.
Recent rains almost crippled vehicular traffic in the state as most of the roads are affected. The NH-5 is closed for heavy vehicles at Chakimod near Dharmpur of Solan district.
Apple season has just started in the state likely to continue till October. The state administration and Traffic police are facing a number of problems in the season including marketing and transportation.
