Aam Aadmi Party’s state president Surjit Thakur opposed the imposition of GST on food items by the central government and said that the Modi government is now trying to snatch bread from the common man’s plate. So far, the rising inflation has made life difficult for the common man. The prices of food items have doubled. After this, now the Modi government is putting a heavy burden on the public by imposing 5% GST on packaged food items. Aam Aadmi Party’s state president Surjit Thakur expressed his protest by tweeting that Wow Modi ji….. The GST imposed on food items shows the failure of the BJP government. Aam Aadmi Party strongly opposes this increase, if there is a little shame left in the central government, then immediately withdraw its decision. Surjit Thakur demanded from the central government that the GST imposed on food items should be withdrawn soon, otherwise the Aam Aadmi Party would agitate.
State President Surjit Thakur said that the anti-people policies of the BJP government at the Center have made life difficult for the people. Now the government has imposed more trouble on the people troubled by inflation. The government has now imposed GST on food items as well. Due to which now flour and rice will also become expensive. The decision to impose GST on food items is completely anti-people, which the government should withdraw soon. Surjit Thakur said that the government has levied 5% GST on the product having less than 25 kg of pre packaging. Common man buys food and drink in packing of less than 25 kg. Which proves that the government has imposed GST to burden the common man to fill his treasury. People already facing inflation will now be troubled by the further increase in the price of food items. The public is not earning as much as the government is increasing inflation. Due to which it is certain that the BJP government at the Center is against the common people. The general public, troubled by rising inflation, will no longer have even food.
People save up to 15 thousand if education, health, electricity and water are free in Delhi, now the Modi government is giving a beating of inflation.
AAP State President Surjit Thakur said that the people of Delhi save 15 thousand of their earnings even after so much inflation. Because the Kejriwal government of Delhi is providing free electricity, water, education, health, yoga and pilgrimage facilities to the people of Delhi. But now the central government is killing inflation. The Modi government is killing inflation by repeatedly increasing the prices of petrol and diesel and now by imposing GST on food items.
