Kinnaur Kailash Yatra-2023 postponed due to heavy rains

Sub Divisional Officer Kalpa Dr.  Major Shashank Gupta told here today that in view of the torrential rains and bad weather in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. , the proposed Kinnaur-Kailash Yatra was scheduled to begin on August 15, 2023, but it has been postponed twice.

 He told that the yatra would be started only if the rain stops and the weather remains favorable for the yatra.

The administration had also canceled the pilgrimage schedule to August 1 earlier. It has been scheduled from August 15 to 22 but due to Orange alert for the next few days, it was canceled 2nd time today.
