HPSEB Jr. Engineer nab red-handed for taking bribe of Rs 7000
The state Vigilance and Anticorruption Bureau nabbed Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Junior Engineer posted at Junga Subdivision of Junga in Shimla district today while taking a bribe of Rs 7000 from the complaint.
A press release issued here today said that an FIR was registered at SV&ACB police station Shimla under section 7 of the Prohibition of Corruption Act today. Earlier a team of
SV&ACB nabbed Junior Engineer Dhiraj Kumar Rai of HPSEB Sub Division Junga who was caught red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 7000 from the complaint in view of settling the issue of using domestic power for commercial use. The investigation is going on.
