HP Govt relieves Chief Electoral Officer of adl charge

Himachal Pradesh Government today relieved Chief Electoral Officer of Himachal Pradesh Election Department Mr C Palrasu from the additional charge of Secretary ( Food , Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs ) as notification issued by the Chief Secretary Ram Subhag Singh said here today
The order passed by the chief secretary and signed by the Secretary Personal of Himachal Pradesh Government, Mr. Amarjeet Singh said that Governor of  Himachal Pradesh to order that Devesh Kumar , IAS ( HP : 1998 ) , Secretary to Chief Minister , who is also holding the charge of the posts of Secretary ( GAD , Sainik Welfare Department and Parliamentary Affairs ) and Managing Director , Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited , Shimla , shall also hold the charge of the post of Secretary ( Food , Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs ) relieving Mr  C. Paulrasu , IAS ( HP : 2004 ) , Chief Electoral Officer – cum – Secretary ( Election ) of this additional charge , with immediate effect , in the public interest.
The action has been taken by the State Government after the cabinet meeting held here today.
A Goverment official told us  on the condition of anonymity that Mr C Palrasu attended the cabinet meeting on Monday but he left it when the meeting was in progress.
The ruling BJP have lost all the four bye election held in the state on October 30 when Mr C Palrasu was the CEO.
It is worthwhile to mention here that before holding the charge of CEO of Election Department,  Mr Devesh Kumar also held this post before Mr C Palrasu.
Rulling BJP have filled number of complaint before the CEO regarding breaching of MCC by its rival candidate including party rebel Chetan Bragta but Mr C Palrasu and others Returning Officer did not passed any order in favour of ruling party.
The ruling party moved a complaint against Mr Chetan Bragta that he did not showed or disclosed the actual or proper information of immobile assets owned by him which was transferred from him by his father late Narendra Bragta. 
Another complaint was also moved before the CEO and Election Commission of India by the ruling party Official against Mr Chetan Bragta that he was illegally tempered party Soical Media accounts seeking disqualification and suspension him in violantion of MCC and People Representation Act. 
CEO or no Returning Officer acted on the complainant of BJP complaint. The fresh action could be outcome of backlash of ruling parties defeat and drubbing.
Normally in the state administive services CEO keep on holding the additional charge of secretary in the government and Mr C Palrasu was not exception to it.
It is first instance when after three days of relaxation of MCC in the state any CEO was relieved from the government taking his additional charge.
The action was taken late this evening by relieving the IAS of additional charge in the public interest however Soical media posts are making round that an IAS officer attended council of ministers meeting when he was drunk, but information could not verified by the official source.
