Himanshu Chauhan to do MA in Architecture from SPA Delhi country’s prestigious institute

Rajgarh’s daughter Himanshu Chauhan has brought laurels to the region and her parents by clearing the national-level Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) on her first attempt. After passing the GATE exam, Himanshu Chauhan has been selected in the Delhi School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), the country’s top institute, to pursue post-graduation in architecture. Where Himanshu Chauhan will also get a scholarship of about 14,500 per month. Let us tell you that only three Schools of Planning and Architecture (SPA) are working in the whole country in Delhi, Bhopal, and Vijayawada where the youth have to go through a tough exam to get admission. Passing the national level Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) by a daughter from a rural environment is a great achievement in itself. Himanshu Chauhan is a native of Rajgarh. Her father is working as headmaster in Premchand Chauhan School and her mother Sarla Chauhan is working as CHT in the school.
It may be noted that Himanshu Chauhan has completed his graduation in Architecture from Rajiv Gandhi Engineering College, Kangra. After this, he started preparing for the GATE exam and after passing the exam on the first attempt, Himanshu Chauhan was selected by three top institutes SPA Delhi, Bhopal, and Jamia Millia Islamia Central University but Himanshu chose SPA Delhi only. Himanshu has given the credit for his success to the departmental head of RGGEC Kangra, Satish Katwal, faculty members, and his parents. In an interview, Himanshu said that she considers her younger sister Kriti Chauhan as her inspiration, who is studying at the prestigious St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. While Himanshu’s twin sister Himani Chauhan has passed Masters’s degree in Biology from Punjab University this year. For this achievement of the daughter, father Prem Chauhan, and mother Sarla Chauhan expressed happiness over this achievement of the daughter and said that three daughters are priceless gems in their house, who told the society that in the present perspective, son and daughter are equal. Prem Chauhan says that he is proud of his promising daughters who have achieved this position with their talent. He told that everyone should give full opportunity to their daughters to make the slogan of Bachao Beti Padhao meaningful.
