Harshwardhan Chauhan stresses HPSIDC to utilize unused land
Presiding over the 280th meeting of the Board of Directors of Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation Limited, (HPSIDC) held here today, Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan accorded permission to construct a commercial complex on the land available with the Corporation at Nalagarh. Apart from this, he also gave instructions to utilize the unused land of the Corporation in Parwanoo.
Appreciating the functioning of the corporation, the Industries Minister said that this corporation is one of the income-earning corporations earning a profit every year. In the year 2020-21, the corporation has earned a net profit of Rs 7.67 crore and in the year 2021-22 Rs. 7.50 crore after payment of income tax.
He approved the pending dividend of Rs. 3.08 crore payable by the State Industrial Development Corporation to the state government for the financial year 2019-20 and 2020-21 during the meeting. The dividend payable by the corporation to the government for the year 2022-23 is Rs. 1.54 crore.
Earlier, Rajeshwar Goyal, Managing Director, HPSIDC made a detailed presentation related to the corporation.
Vice President of HPSIDC, Vishal Chambyal, Principal Secretary Industries, R.D. Nazeem, Secretary Agriculture, Rakesh Kanwar, Director Industries, Rakesh Prajapati, Special Secretary Industries, Kiran Bhadana and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
