Dr Dhani Ram Shandil reviewed health services in view of the emergent situation due to heavy rain
Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil in a meeting with the departmental officers held here today reviewed the damage caused to health institutions in the state due to heavy rains.
The Health Minister said that all necessary steps have been taken by the government to prevent diseases from occurring during the rainy season in the state and to provide immediate health services in case of any emergency. He said that in view of any emergency situation arising due to intermittent rains, the health department has canceled the leaves of all the employees working in the health institutions so that health services would be provided smoothly in the state.
Dr. Shandil also instructed the health department officials to make proper arrangements for the storage of essential medicines and uninterrupted ambulance service in health institutions of the state. Senior officials of the Health and Family Welfare Department were also present in the meeting.
