District Judiciary & IGMC to remain close tomorrow
With deceleration of public holiday tomorrow on Monday by the Himachal Pradesh Government state district courts in the state and Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital Outpatient
Department and Operations Theatre remained close .
In separate notification issued here today the spokesperson of two premier institutions made this announcement on Sunday to inform the general public.
In notification issued here today Register General of Himachal Pradesh High court said that after declaration of holiday on 22nd January, 2024 (Monday) by the state government the High Court of Himachal Pradesh as well as District Judiciary in the State of Himachal Pradesh would remain close tomorrow for the full day. It is worthwhile to mention that Himachal Pradesh High court already closed for winter vacation but vocation court and Registery is opened.
IGMC Senior Medical Superintendent Rahul Rao said that all the Outpatient Departments (OPD) and Operation Theatres (OT) would remain closed tomorrow except for emergency services.
Sr MS informed that as per the government’s notification, tomorrow is declared as a public holiday in all the departments, boards, corporations, schools, colleges, universities, etc. therefore OPD and OT services would remain closed.He said that IGMC have been receiving numerous inquiries about tomorrow’s holiday at the hospital.
He said that Emergency services would continue to function efficiently.
