The Chief Minister had come to Dangdi in Nadaun assembly constituency to appeal for votes for Lok Sabha candidate Satpal Raizada. He said that Nadaun is my birthplace and workplace. I have seen many ups and downs in life, but the people of Nadaun stood with me. After becoming the Chief Minister, there was a lot of work pressure, the previous government had bankrupted the state. First of all we had to face the economic challenge. Worked day and night and made new plans. After that came the challenge of natural disaster. It was dealt with with the help of the public. People got settled and started working again. After this came the political challenge.

He said that our government is working to send money directly into the pockets of the people. There are many obstacles in implementing the plans on the ground. If these problems are resolved and the plans are implemented, positive results will emerge soon. We are working for the upliftment of women. The scheme of monthly pension of Rs 1500 has been started, all eligible women should submit the form soon. The government has brought a scheme to provide free education to the children of widowed women. Widows will be given Rs 3 lakh to build houses. For this, the annual income limit has also been increased to Rs 2.5 lakh.

Thakur Sukhwinder Singh said that earlier there was a craze for children to join the army. But after the implementation of Agniveer Yojana, youth are no longer seen on the streets. Enthusiasm towards the army has decreased among the youth. Agniveer scheme will be discontinued as soon as Congress government is formed at the Centre. MP Anurag Thakur should increase his general knowledge regarding Jolsappad Medical College, I had got it approved on 3 March 2014. With the construction of a medical college, houses will go up on rent till Dangadi. The economic condition of the people will be strong. Indoor stadium is being built in Nadaun at a cost of Rs 50 crore. The youth will benefit from it.

During this, Lok Sabha candidate Satpal Raizada, Dangdi Panchayat head Anita Kumari, Deputy Head Naseeb Singh, Deputy Head Prakash Thakur, Kangra Bank nominated director Moti Joshi, Nadaun Nagar Panchayat President Shammi Soni, former head of Nauhangi Panchayat Hansraj Syal, Chaudhary Dharampal, Urmila Thakur, senior Congressmen Santosh Sandhu, Kamal Kammi etc. were present.
