Contribute to the Disaster Relief Fund Pratibha appeals Congress officials
State Congress President MP Pratibha Singh has appealed to party officials and workers to contribute to the Disaster Relief Fund to help the people affected by heavy floods in the state. In a letter written to the party officials, Pratibha Singh said that this time there has been heavy loss of lives and damage to government and private property worth crores of rupees due to floods in the state. In the time of this disaster, the Congress party also has to extend its full support to the state government in relief and rescue operations. She has said that public cooperation is required to deal with such natural calamities and the Congress party has always made its special contribution in such works from time to time.
Pratibha Singh said that in order to help the people, the State Congress Committee has also set up a control room at Rajiv Bhavan to monitor this work, while in all other districts, groups have been formed for information and assistance under the supervision of the state Congress office bearers and district heads, who are helping the affected people in every possible way.
Pratibha Singh has called upon all party leaders, office bearers and workers, and common people to contribute to the disaster relief fund for this pious work so that the affected people can be helped.
