Congress will soon announce all its candidates for Himachal: Rajneesh Kimta
State Congress Organization General Secretary Rajneesh Kimta has said that the party will soon announce all its candidates. He has said that BJP should not worry about this.
Today, while talking to journalists at Rajeev Bhawan, the state Congress headquarters, Rajneesh Kimta said that elections are to be held in the last phase in the state. He said that the nomination process will start in the state from May 7. He said that during this time, star campaigners of Congress will participate in the election campaign in the state. He said that the party has prepared the entire blueprint for publicity. He said that party candidates Vinod Sultanpuri and Vikramaditya Singh have started their election campaign in the Shimla and Mandi parliamentary constituencies. He said that soon all the leaders and ministers including Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri will visit the state and address the meetings.
Kimta said that any decision regarding the return home of the leaders expelled from the party is taken by the central high command only. He said that the case of return home of former Pachhad MLA and former Assembly Speaker Ganguram Musafir is still pending with the central high command. He clarified that Musafir has made an unconditional request to join the party, but since this entire matter has gone to the Central High Command on the recommendation of the Disciplinary Committee and soon a decision will be taken on it on the basis of merits. He said that the State Congress Committee has also recommended his inclusion in the party.
Kimta also gave a strong reaction to the allegation by BJP leaders that he is raising questions on the law and order situation in the state. He said that BJP should change its vision. He said that BJP is unsuccessfully trying to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the state by making such statements. He accused BJP of trying to disturb the peaceful political atmosphere of the state. He said that the way BJP has tried to destabilize the state government, the real face of BJP has been revealed to the people of the state. He said that for the first time in the state, an attempt was made to topple a government with absolute majority through a conspiracy. He said that BJP is the mother of Operation Lotus but its operation completely failed in the state. The people of the state will defeat BJP on all fronts. He claimed that Congress will achieve a landslide victory in all four Lok Sabha and six assembly by-elections in the state.
