Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Rakesh Babli in a condolence meeting organised in his memory at Khalini, Shimla today. The Chief Minister paid floral tributes to the portrait of Rakesh Babli.
Rakesh Babli was the chairman of Himachal Pradesh Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board.
Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the contribution of Rakesh Babli in strengthening the organization and development of the state will always be remembered. He said that Rakesh Babli started multi-faceted programs for the welfare of labourers by taking several initiatives in Himachal Pradesh Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board.
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj paid tribute to Rakesh Babli and shared various memories related to his life.
HP State Child Welfare Council General Secretary Payal Vaidya, BJP Mandal President Rakesh Sharda, State General Secretary Kisan Morcha Sanjeev Desta, Assistant Controller of Himachal Pradesh Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board Bharat Bhushan, officers and employees of the Board, office bearers of BJP and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
