Central government targeting Rahul Gandhi is a well planned conspiracy: Anand Sharma

Former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Anand Sharma stated that Central government targetted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi under a well planned conspiracy . He was in his home town on Monday and attended Himachal Pradesh Assembly session in VVIP gallery . Responding to query of media about the cancellation of Rahul Gandhi’s membership from the Lok Sabha, Anand Sharma said that the central government is scared of Rahul Gandhi’s fearless campaign to save democracy in the country. The decision to disqualify Rahul Gandhi from the Lok Sabha is an attempt to suppress his voice.   He said that Rahul Gandhi took out Bharat Jodo Yatra to make people aware of the anti-people policies of the Central Government.  He said that the people would give a befitting reply to the BJP in the coming elections in the country.  He also urged all opposition parties to unite to save democracy.

 Anand Sharma said that Rahul Gandhi has every right to speak in Parliament, but the central government targeted him as part of a well-planned conspiracy.  Expressing full faith in the judiciary, Anand Sharma said that the decision of the lower court will not stand in the High Court.  He said that the Congress party would fight a political and legal battle against this decision.
