By-election is just a trailer rest is yet to come in 2022, compassionate dependents warns Government
The convenor of Himachal Karunamulak Sangh Ajay Kumar cautioned the state Government to take care of the cause of protesting family members of employees died during services as complete route of ruling candidate in bye election was just trailer warning it that much more is yet to come in 2022 state assembly election.
State President Ajay Kumar said that dependents and protesters of Karunamulak Sangh was sitting on a gradual hunger strike in Varsha Shalika near Kalibari temple in Shimla for 97 days howeverJai Ram Thakur did not pay any heed to their demand.
Ajay Kumar said that after seeing the results of bye elections, the government should not waste more time and should consider their dependents. He said that wrath of people in the state including such vulernable people could have far reaching consequences in the upcoming Assembly election in 2022.
Similarly the government would be responded to through the votes by hit the EVM buttons because there was no such other public forum before them to address their issues baring elections.
” Chief Minister did not meet with the family members of protesting dependents and concerned minister also did not pay any heed for providing them jobs as the matter of policy of now latter have suffered in the by-elections owing to own utter neglect of public issues.” Mr Kumar added.
The state has not yet taken any final decision on thei demand to provide jobs to more than 4500 cases in various departments, the affected families are waiting for jobs for about 15 years. He said that in hundreds of families who are waiting jobs on the compassionate ground have lost the source of family income and livelihood and now conditions of such families are not good.
The Sangh demands to decide all cases pending for jobs in all departments, boards, corporations, under the policy of Mar 7, 2019 by giving one time settlement appointments togetherThe policy of jobs on compassionate grounds should be amended and the condition of one member annual income limit of Rs 62500 and five percent quota should be completely removed while making appointments by the department on its own.
