Both the ruling party and the opposition will have to work together to bring the state back on track: Bindal
Bharatiya Janata Party State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal expressed his gratitude to the country’s successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who sanctioned Rs. The approval of Rs 2643 crore under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana will play an important role in the construction and improvement of roads in Himachal Pradesh.
Dr. Bindal said that a few days ago, Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari visited Himachal Pradesh and he took the responsibility of the central government to completely repair the four-lane national highways, which is a big decision for Himachal. Thousands of crores will be spent on bringing these four-lane, national highways in proper condition and 100 percent will come from the Modi government at the center.
Due to heavy rains, BRO has started the work of repairing the damage caused to the roads made by BRO at a fast pace, whose 100 percent expenditure will be borne by the Modi government at the center. The Central Government is bearing the entire expenditure for the restoration of the damage caused to the Railways in the past.
NDRF, SDRF, Air Force, Military are working with full promptness on the guidelines of the Central Government in relief and rescue operations. The biggest rescue operation was carried out by the Airforce in Kangra as a result of which hundreds of people could be pulled out from the submerged land.
From the point of view of disaster relief, the Modi government at the center is continuously helping the state government.
Dr. Bindal said that Himachal Pradesh belongs to all of us. Both the ruling party and the opposition will have to work together to bring the state back on track. However, it is the responsibility of the state government to provide relief in disaster.
