State President of Aam Aadmi Party Surjit Singh Thakur appealed to the AAP workers to actively participate in the protest of the gardeners to be held in Shimla on 5th August. All you workers should support the farmers and gardener brothers. All you workers participate in the protest without caps and flags. This is not a political program of Aam Aadmi Party. The workers of Aam Aadmi Party stand shoulder to shoulder with the farmers and gardeners in this struggle. Until the anti-farmer Jairam government accepts the demands of farmers and gardeners, the Aam Aadmi Party will stand by them in this fight with them.
The government has given some relief under the pressure of Aam Aadmi Party, you will continue to raise your voice to provide complete justice to the gardeners.
State President of Aam Aadmi Party Surjit Thakur said that Aam Aadmi Party has been continuously raising the voice of the gardeners in the state till now. Due to which the anti-farmer BJP government has given some relief to the gardeners under pressure, which is like cumin in the mouth of a camel. This is not going to benefit the farmer-horticulture brothers. Surjit Thakur’s demand from the government is that the government should fulfill all the reasonable demands of the farmers and gardeners at the earliest. So that the gardeners can get their due. Surjit Thakur said that the government should increase the support price of apples at Rs 24 per kg like in Jammu and Kashmir. The government has played a lousy joke with the farmers by increasing the support price by Re 1. If more than 10 rupees a kg, then the cost of labor in apple production is incurred.

Surjit Thakur said that the Aam Aadmi Party is a party out of the movement. In which there are common people who understand the pain of farmers, gardeners, poor and laborers. BJP is anti-farmer party. This BJP has proved time and again. Sometime back also we saw that BJP government had brought three black laws against farmers. To stop the farmers, tried to stop them by installing forts and stars on the roads, but later under pressure from the farmers, the government had to withdraw the black law. Aam Aadmi Party has always stood with the farmers. The Aam Aadmi Party had made arrangements for food and drink for the farmers sitting on the agitation in Delhi, arranged toilets for all and arranged tents for sleeping at night. In Himachal too, the Aam Aadmi Party is with the farmers and gardener brothers. Until our farmers and gardener brothers get their due, the government does not accept their demands, the Aam Aadmi Party is standing with them in the fight for their struggle.
