BAPM given call of protest on Oct 10

Bhumi Adhigrahin Prabhabit Manch decided to protest on the subdivision level in the state over failure of BJP Government to not take any decision on the four fold compensation for acquisation of land. In an emergency online meeting held here today BAPM convenor BR Kaundal condemned the failure of government to not list this agenda in the cabinet meeting  yesterday, The secretary of BAPM Jonginder Walia said that BJP have promised to provide fourfold  compensation  to the four-lane affected people. He said that a campaign would be organized at the district level on October 10 and after that, a campaign would be conducted at the district level. : Land Acquisition Prabhabit Manch would decided in the meeting today to give call of vote ki chot( hit by the vote) for misleading the people previously. He said that BJP have stated in its ‘Darishtipatar ‘ in last Assembly election to provide compensation to the people affected by the land acquisition. It is a matter of great surprise that 5 years are going on till now, no proper decision has been taken, due to which there is a lot of anger among the farmers against this governmen In the meeting 46 committee members of 28 affected organizations of Shimla, Solan, Bilaspur, Mandi, Kangra and Kullu participated,  Forum President BR Kondal said that on the issue of four-fold compensation, rehabilitation and resettlement by implementing the Land Acquisition Act, 2013, the government has always assured the farmers through cabinet committees that the farmers would be in favor of the farmers. The issue of four times compensation was to be presented in the cabinet meeting last yesterday, but some administrative officials confused the matter and got it out of the agenda of the meeting, which is a matter of regret and the government has cheated the farmers of Himachal.  Fourlane or  land acquisition affected had been hoping for the last 5 years that the government would fulfill its promise but it could not happen.  There is a huge resentment among the people against this promise of the government.

 The convener of the forum, Joginder Walia has said that the Himachal government is inclined to misled Prime Minister of India who had also in faour of  four times compensation to the farmers. He said that if Government would not keep the promise made by the govenrment Jairam Sarkar would have to face defeat in the assembly elections .
