After three days of rain and snow normal life on track in Himachal
After three days of increased rainfall and snowfall, normal life came back on track as it was mainly sunny to partly cloudy.
According to the State Disaster Management Authority, unprecedented rain and snowfall derailed life in the last 24 hours as a landslide killed a man in Chamba district and shooting stones hit a village in Kullu district.
In an incident of a landslide that occurred at Village Chamdeu, Banjali Tehsil Salooni, District Chamba last night, one person was trapped under debris due to a landslide. When taken out of the debris by the villagers, the person is reported dead on the spot. The deceased was identified as Devi Prasad S/o Muhnu R/o village Jakhral An incident of shooting stones occurred near Village Jindaud, Tehsil Kullu, and District Kullu
In the incident, due to heavy rainfall, stones have been falling from the hill since last night. So far, no loss of life has been reported in the mishap.
A report just confirmed from Lahual Spiti that an incident avalanche occurred at the opposite mountain of Shooling village in sub-division Lahaul No loss has been reported in the incident. Information received from the patwari of Gondala.
