117th birth anniversary of Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar Celebrated
On the 117th birth anniversary of Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar, the creator of Himachal Pradesh, the party leaders remembered him and paid their respects at the state Congress headquarters, Rajiv Bhawan.
Recalling his remarkable contribution in the construction of the state, the Congress leaders said that the state came into existence only because of Dr. Parmar. He said that Dr. Parmar’s foresight is the result of code policy, which today Himachal Pradesh is known in the best leading category of hill states. Highlighting the life of Dr. Parmar, the Congress leaders said that Dr. Parmar, born in a rural environment, was rich in prodigious talent, who protected the interests of the state by obtaining a doctorate degree in advocacy. He said that Himachal Pradesh would always be indebted to him.
