Work on the opening of closed roads in the Junga area due to heavy rains on a war footing

Many roads under the Public Works Department sub-division Junga have been blocked due to heavy rains and landslides. To open them, the department is working on a war footing. Be informed that due to heavy rains last night, the Junga-Shimla road has been blocked near Chakhra. Similarly, the Junga Sadhupul road in Koon Nala and the Janedghat road near Mudaghat have been closed due to landslides. However, the Junga-Chhalanda road was closed near Bhadech, which has been opened by the department for vehicular movement by installing JCB. Similarly, the Chhalanda-Piran road was also blocked at many places due to falling snow, which has been opened by the department. Let us tell you that the Junga Sadhupul road near Koon Nullah has been closed after landslides during the last two months. Due to frequent landslides in this drain, the department has to make a lot of effort to open it. Assistant Engineer Lonivi Junga Devesh Thakur said that the work of opening the closed roads is being done on a war footing. JCB has been deployed on all the roads to remove debris and stones. He said that a target has been set to open Chail Kufri Road by evening.
