Under 14 student sports competition of Mashobra starts in Janedghat

The sports competition for under-14 students of Mashombara block started on Wednesday at Government Senior Secondary School, Janedghat. In this three-day sports competition, 460 students of 34 senior secondary, high, and middle schools of Mashobra block and about 80 physical teachers are participating. SDM Rural Shimla Nishant Thakur duly inaugurated the sports competition and took the salute of the attractive march past presented by the players.
On this occasion, Nishant Thakur said in his address that sports are very important in the student life, due to which the mental, intellectual, and physical development of the children takes place, while the feeling of discipline, competition, self-confidence arises in the children, which is the life goal of the children. It proves worthwhile to achieve.
Earlier, Principal Dr. Sohan Ranta welcomed the chief guest and gave detailed information about the sports activities. He told that in this three-day sports competition, cultural programs including volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, chess, yoga, shotput, long jump, etc. will be organized. He told that on June 23, Rural Development Minister Anirudh Singh will participate as the chief guest on the closing occasion of the competition.
On this occasion, teachers and non-teaching staff of the school including local head Swaroop Thakur, deputy head Chatar Singh Dhiman, SMC head Mahesh Dutt Sharma, sports in-charge Nandlal, assistant sports in-charge Rupendra Singh were present.
