CM Sukhu expresses grief over road accident victims

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief over a road accident near Tarwai Bridge in Chamba district, where a vehicle fell into the Siul River carrying 11 persons, including 9 police personnel. The ill-fated vehicle was on its way from Bairagarh to Tissa. According to reports reaching State headquarters, six persons including five police personnel lost their lives in this accident and five sustained injuries.

The Chief Minister directed the district authorities to provide immediate ex-gratia grant to the next of kin of the deceased and best of treatment to the injured persons. He also wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

Sh. Sukhu prayed to the Almighty to give peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
