16000 bigha Himachal land under control of Doda Administration 

About 16000 bigha land of Himachal Pradesh border are of Langera of Saluni subdivision in Padhri is presently under control of Doda District of Jummu and Kashmir , this was stated by the state government in Himachal Pradesh while replying to a query raised by the local MLA in the state assembly. Giving a reply to D S Thakur of Dalhousie member query in the question hours Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi said that the issue have been raised in the previous assembly by the concerned members and it has been found that Himachal Pradesh land of 16000 bigha was is presently under possession or accession of Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir State. He said that steps have been taken by the Government include this area again in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh but the administration did not attend the demarcation proceeding .He said that e matter has already been taken up by the Government with the Jammu and Kashmir Administration for settlement as per entries in the revenue records of both the States.
