Lions Club Shimla celebrates 78th Independence Day with underprivileged children at Him Giri Kalyan Ashram

Lions Club Shimla, upholding its commitment to humanitarian causes, celebrated the 78th Independence Day with orphans and children from underprivileged families, including those from tribal areas of Himachal Pradesh, at the Him Giri Kalyan Ashram near Mehli, Shimla. The Ashram provides free education, meals, and hostel facilities to these children.

To mark the special occasion, the Lions Club arranged food, juices, and sweets for 40 students at the Ashram. The children expressed their gratitude by performing a memorable cultural program for the club members. The event was attended by prominent members of the Lions Club, including President Lion Man Mohan Verma, Chairman of the Lions Trust Lion Kapil Dev Sood, Project Chairman Lion Mukul Sood, Lion J.P. Sharma, Lion Sufal Sood, Lion Sunil Sood, Lion Ravi Sood, Lion Dr. Rajesh Chanana, Lion Sohan Lal, Lion Anil Sood, Lion Vinod, Lion K.R. Sharma, and other club members.
