Jairam visits Krishna Nagar and inquired about well being of refugees

Senior BJP leader and Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur today visited Krishna Nagar Ward, met the refugees at Ambedkar Bhawan and Samudayak Bhawan, and inquired about their well-being.

Jairam Thakur inspected the spot and informed Deputy Commissioner Shimla about the lack of basic facilities there. The refugees are facing a lot of problems due to the lack of electricity and toilets in Ambedkar Bhavan.

There are mostly migrant laborers in the community building and maximum facilities are being provided to them by the administration.

Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur later met the injured at IGMC and inquired about their well-being. The chest and spinal cord of many people are also broken. A lady from Bengali garden needs financial help.

Injured people from Fagli and Krishna Nagar are admitted to different departments in IGMC.

Jairam Thakur said that the first task in the time of this disaster is rehabilitation and the administration should evacuate people from all the houses which are in danger and establish them elsewhere. There are many trees that have created a danger inside Shimla and the electricity wires are also in a big gathering, the administration should work fast on this.

The loss is huge, but both the opposition and the party are ready to serve the people together and in this time of disaster, the first priority is to save lives and take care of the survivors.

Our social organizations have also done the work of providing food to refugees everywhere.

Sadhna Thakur, state media in-charge Karn Nanda, Sanjay Sood, Bittu Pana, Rajni Singh, and Ashu were present with him.
