Himachal Governor convenes winter session of HP Assembly from Dec 22 to 24.

Himachal Pradesh 14 legislative assembly winter session was convened by state Governor Rajinder Vishavnath Arhlekar at Tapovan Vidhansabha complex in Dharmshala from December 22 , 2022. A notification issued by Secretary Vidhansabha Yash Paul Sharma said that Guv convened three days winter session from December 22 at 11 am at Tapovan Vidhansabha complex near Dharmshala in Kangra district today. First day of session would be dedicated to Oath of newly elected legislators and introduction of Chief minister and his cabinet members. On  December 23 on the  Second day Election of new speaker and deputy speaker. It would be followed. The proceedings of Assembly also begin with inaugural address by Himachal Pradesh Governor Rajinder Vishavnath Arhlekar on December 23. On the last day of session house would pay obituary references to demise of former members and also transact the official business and introduce and expressed the thanks motion on the governor address. The house is scheduled to sine die on December 23 for indefinite period by the speaker. It is first session of Congress government led by Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu after recent Vidhansabha poll in the state. Cabinet expansion also be Likely during and before the Assembly session at Dharmshala however no scheduled was issued sofar.
