Himachal Congress protested against the anti-people policies and dictatorial decisions of BJP suspending MPs
On the call of the All India Congress Committee, today the State Congress protested in all the district headquarters against the anti-people policies and dictatorial decisions of the BJP government at the Center in protest against the suspension of MPs of Congress and other opposition parties from the Parliament. Many party leaders, officials of leading organizations, and a large number of workers participated in this protest demonstration organized under the leadership of district presidents.
In this protest organized in Shimla, under the leadership of District Shimla Urban President Jitendra Chaudhary, a protest was held against the Central Government on the Mall Road bridge.
During this, Jitendra Chaudhary in his address took the BJP government at the Center to task and said that now the pot of sins of this government is full. He said that the way MPs have been suspended from Parliament is tantamount to murder of democracy. He said that the MPs were thrown out of the House to avoid questions from the opposition. He said that any MP has every right to question the government inside the House, but the BJP is violating this right which is a matter of great concern. He said that today Congress is protesting against this dictatorship across the country so that the people of the country can also know the real face of BJP.
State Mahila Congress President Zainab Chandel said during this time that the India Alliance in the country is strongly united against the anti-people policies and dictatorship of the BJP. He said that people are fed up with the misgovernance of BJP and now the departure of BJP is certain in the Lok Sabha elections to be held next year.
Criticizing BJP over the suspension of opposition MPs from both houses of Parliament, Zainab Chandel said that the country is now eager to take revenge for this insult and the departure of BJP from power in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections is certain. He said that today every section of the country is unhappy and helpless. Women are being tortured. He said that the youth are unhappy with unemployment and the public is unhappy with rising inflation.
