Brainstorming took place on various local issues in the meeting of Kasupti Kisan Sabha
The meeting of the Himachal Kisan Sabha Kasumpti Center was concluded on Monday. In which various issues related to farmers were discussed in depth. Kisan Sabha Secretary Jai Shiv Thakur called upon the Kasumpti Committee to make efforts to include at least five active workers and farmers in every ward and panchayat to strengthen the organization. He said that considering local issues, farmers and the general public will have to insist on becoming members.
Discussing the local issues, President Gulab Chandel said that whether it was the previous government or the present Congress government, people are being played with in the name of health. Kasumpti is trying to straighten up its efforts by sending teams of expert doctors to various places in the Assembly constituency and setting up one-day camps. It would have been better if specialist doctors were appointed in Civil Hospital Junga, CHC, and PHC so that people do not have to make rounds of IGMC. Deploying specialist doctors in rural areas will reduce crowding in Ripon and IGMC.
The Secretary urged that it is necessary to identify such people in the area who can donate Rs 200, Rs 500, and Rs 1000 to the Kisan Sabha every year. He said that one hundred people from the Kisan Sabha Kasumpti area will participate in the joint grand march of farmers and laborers against the anti-farmer labor policies of the Central Government in Shimla from 25th to 27th November.
Kasumpti Kisan Sabha President Gulab Chandel said that the Kisan Sabha Kasumpti Area Committee has done many such works in about 35 panchayats in the last few years. From which people have benefited. This has become possible only due to the guidance of State President Dr. Kuldeep Singh Tanwar.
Earlier in the meeting, Krishnanand Sharma, while proposing condolence, said that a minute silence was observed on behalf of the Kisan Sabha as a tribute to the people’s hero of the Green Revolution, Dr. MS Swaminathan, and those killed in the disaster.
