Yashwant Chajta appointed as Vice Chairperson of HIMUDA
Himachal Pradesh Government today issued an appointment notification of Yashwant Chajta as Vice Chairperson of HIMUDA.
According to the secretary of housing of Himachal Pradesh, Mr Chajta will be appointed as Vice Chairperson of HIMUDA with immediate effect today.
Himachal Pradesh Housing Urban Development Authority is a state government agency to provides housing to people by building new townships in the state.
Currently, HIMUDA is rendering huge losses as many of its projects are scuttled mid-way due to an NGT order that did not permit multistorey building in capital towns, and due to natural disasters apex courts are studying the vulnerability of new housing projects of the state for the carrying capacity
Government agencies acquire new land and sell new flats to the residents of the state but HIMUDA could not earn a great reputation for delivering new projects in the state.
