World Famous Tulip Garden of CSIR- Himalayan Bioresource Technology Institute
On the 2nd of February, 2024, a spectacle of color and beauty unfolded as the Director of the CSIR- Himalayan Bioresource Technology Institute, Dr. Sudesh Kumar Yadav, unveiled the world-renowned Tulip Garden to the public. For about 1.5 months, this enchanting garden welcomed visitors from India and abroad, offering a breathtaking display of nature’s finest creations.
Throughout its brief opening period, approximately 96 thousand people flocked to witness the mesmerizing charm of the tulips in full bloom. This year, the garden boasted an astonishing array of 50 thousand tulip flowers, showcasing six distinct varieties that captivated the hearts of all who visited.
Compared to previous years, the 2024 season witnessed a remarkable surge in visitors, with 26 thousand more individuals immersing themselves in the splendor of the Tulip Garden. Such overwhelming attendance is a testament to the enduring allure and universal appeal of this natural wonder.
However, as with all fleeting moments of beauty, the time has come for the Tulip Garden to bid farewell to its adoring admirers. With the flowers having naturally withered away, the garden has now closed its gates, leaving behind cherished memories and an indelible impression on all those who were fortunate enough to experience its magnificence.
As the Tulip Garden prepares to hibernate until its next grand unveiling, one cannot help but reflect on the joy it brought to countless souls during its brief but glorious existence. Its vibrant hues and delicate petals served as a reminder of the enduring beauty found in nature, a beauty that has the power to unite people from all walks of life in awe and appreciation.
