Works of Rs 15,000 Cr done in Shimla constituency in last 5 years: Kashyap
Former BJP President and MP Suresh Kashyap participated as the chief guest in the cultural program Aagaan organized by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Sanjauli unit.
Kashyap said that it is my resolve to take forward the development in Shimla parliamentary constituency and we have fully implemented this resolution. We have got works worth more than Rs 15,000 crore done by the Central Government in the last 5 years in Shimla parliamentary constituency.
Giving details of the works, Kashyap said that BJP has made Rs 2800 crore Sunni Dam Project in Shimla parliamentary constituency, Rs 7000 crore Renuka Dam Project, Rs 282 crore on Medical College Nahan, Rs 390 crore on IIM, Rs 1426 crore Green Corridor. Took the work of construction of National Highway, Rs 5000 crore Medical Device Park, Rs 1540 crore Railway Baddi Chandigarh, Rs 2730 crore Parwanoo Shimla four lane, Rs 452 crore Chandigarh Baddi Railway Line and 271 BSNL towers, this is no small task.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given 90:10 status to the state, on the basis of which development work is being done in the state. The Congress government is dependent on the money given by the Center but is still doing politics on it.
He said that Himachal Pradesh has faced a terrible natural disaster last year. There was a lot of damage to life and property in this. The National Conference of BJP expresses its deepest condolences to the people and families of the victims of this disaster in Himachal Pradesh. The speed with which Narendra Modi government provided help to Himachal Pradesh is commendable. Our Home Minister also immediately took necessary steps. Our National President Jagat Prakash Nadda remained in constant touch with the local government, visited the affected areas and left no stone unturned to provide assistance.
